Gazette Talks, an online podcast hosted by FEU Roosevelt Cainta Media Team, premiered its first premiere episode on October 11, 2021. Gazette Talks is more than just a podcast, it is also an outlet wherein students can come together to share their unique experiences and tackle several different topics revolving around being a student who a lot of us can relate to.
Last October 8, 2021, student leaders were able to present their club and organization through the Club Shopping Program. The event was held via Microsoft Teams that made students excited in joining clubs and organizations in school. Each club and organization introduced themselves through fun and engaging activities to convince students to join their team. After the program, students were asked to fill out the Club Shopping form that indicates the club or organization that they wish to join.
On October 6, 2021, FEU Roosevelt Cainta celebrated the annual “World Teacher’s Day” by honoring the school’s hardworking and passionate teachers who have been offering their hearts and minds in teaching and caring for the students for many years now. This celebration was held online and did not hinder the FEUR Cainta Tamaraws to express their gratitude for their beloved second parents.
The pandemic had a significant impact in the Philippines, particularly in the context of teaching and learning. Due to the cessation of face-to-face classes in the country, schools have turned to remote online learning classes as a means of continuing education despite the pandemic. However, not all students have the capacity to use the gadgets that are required for their learning, prompting them to choose the remote offline without internet mode of learning.
As part and celebration of the Wellness Month, FEU Roosevelt Cainta provided activities, dubbed as WellnessatFEURCainta, to remind its students how important their health is. The Elementary Education Department’s Headdress Making Activity was held as part of the activities prepared for Wellness Month.
Leadership begins within oneself. It is not just a skill, but it is the art of influencing, guiding, and achieving certain objectives collaboratively. While it may be apparent that experienced student leaders have more compelling leadership abilities than others, it is also true that a typical student is not just bound to remain on the sidelines. Anyone can be and is capable of being a student leader regardless. Moreover, these supposed average students are sometimes the most influential leaders.
