Since the pandemic struck in 2020, students are recommended to learn the ways of using our internet access as an online resource for most research work. E-books, websites, word processors, and a lot of other amazing platforms are really helpful for online learning. With this, the FEU Roosevelt Cainta Library Department held an orientation last October 18, on how to use the library resources given by the FEU Roosevelt for their research needs and assignments.
Ms. Ammabelle Dela Paz, FEU Roosevelt Cainta’s Librarian, presented a demo on how to use the resources that can be accessed through the E-Library course in Canvas. The demonstration showed how to access the websites, how to log-in, and how to search for books and papers. The platforms given were World Book Online, VitalSource Bookshelf, and EBSCO. World Book Online is a verified digital resource that is helpful for grades Pre-K to High School. Meanwhile, VitalSource Bookshelf is a platform for distributing and engaging with e-books and online resources. On the other hand, EBSCO is an online provider of e-journals, magazine subscriptions, and research of a particular topic for all students.
