On December 7, 2020, the officers of each class of every grade level were invited by the FEU Roosevelt Rodriguez Student Council to their first-ever general officers’ meeting. Just as expected, the meeting was conducted virtually via MS Teams, since face-to-face gatherings are still not being allowed. The attendees of the said event started joining the virtual meeting at 5:45 p.m. and were almost complete around 6:00 p.m. The meeting started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem which was then followed by an invocation. The meeting was hosted by the officers of the student council themselves, and the entire flow of the discussions were guided by a presentation shared on-screen.

For the introductions, welcoming remarks were spoken by the FEURRSC president, Emil Bugarin, and vice-president, Elisha Ann Tindugan. To formally start the discussion, Elaika Mae Jamero and Lennard Reiner Pascual started discussing the contents of the presentation. They showcased the recent achievements of the organization such as the success of the recent virtual club fair. The integration of the Office 365 applications when it comes to the process of online collaborations was emphasized as well. Also, they encouraged everyone to keep themselves updated with the recent posts of the FEURRSC and other social media pages which serve as a disseminating medium of the news and updates regarding the school.

Since the meeting was mainly intended for all the class officer attendees, the main topic of the discussion was the roles and responsibilities of every officer depending on the position for which they are responsible. For additional relatable ideas, each position was discussed by the student council officer himself or herself who also happens to be dutiful of the same position. In order to further raise the class officers’ awareness regarding the structure on how governing bodies work, the structure of the FEURRSC with regards to the whole FEUR Rodriguez management was also presented.

Around 7:00 p.m. the formal discussion ended, and the open mic session started. Officers, regardless of position and grade level, were given the chance to give some inquiries, to provide their insights, or to even share some suggestions about the future events of the school. Several questions were entertained by the hosts, which includes the possibility of having a ‘Battle of the Bands’ or conducting an ‘FEU-R Got Talent’. It was also asked if it is possible to have an online game tournament, specifically Mobile Legends and Valorant. Lastly, regarding the Christmas parties, it was discussed that each section can have their own Christmas party provided that no physical gatherings will be done. It was later revealed by Emil Bugarin that they were in the process of recording the official Christmas carol of FEURRSC. Around 7:30 p.m., with no further questions and suggestions, the meeting was concluded with the singing of the FEU Hymn.
