RODRIGUEZ, RIZAL – Students often see the teachers’ hard work to sculpt the future. They are the mentors who help students through challenges, the ones who guide and uphold discipline. As a heartfelt thank-you for their hard work, they gathered last Friday, October 6 to have fun in the Teacher’s Day event held at the FEURR Gymnasium.
To celebrate the richness of language and the power of storytelling, our school embarked on a literary journey during the English Month celebration with the captivating theme: “World Literature: Cultivating Imagination, Exploring One’s Passion, and Molding the Young Generation.” The week-long celebration, from November 21 to November 29, 2023, was brimming with activities that fostered a love for literature and honed various skills among the students.
In the heart of the towering symbol of our institution, the sun streamed through the transparent façade, cascading on walls and enthusiastic smiles of learners. The colors of the world’s unified nations adorned every corner, creating a sense of goodwill and optimism. Setting the stage as the FEU Roosevelt Rodriguez honored the countries of the world’s shared rich and diverse past on the 20th of October in the Senior High School Building lobby.
On November 17, 2023, the offshore students were given the opportunity to learn more about the clubs FEURR offers through the Virtual Club Fiesta, which is held live via Microsoft Teams and Facebook. It started with the introduction of esteemed speakers, setting the atmosphere in a tone of an optimistic live event that promised to be spectacular for the students’ experience throughout the year. It was then followed by Mrs. Teresa Angeles, the principal of FEURR, gracing the occasion with words of wisdom and encouragement. Her remarks were remarkable for the students, and even the teachers present during the event. She shared quotes to further guide and advise her peers to choose the clubs that correctly resonated with their passions and aspirations as students and living beings.
RODRIGUEZ, RIZAL – A lingering sense of spine-chilling terror continues to resound following the meticulously orchestrated Halloween extravaganza by the FEUR-Rodriguez Student Council on November 9th at 4 pm. The haunting spectacle unfolded on the 2nd Floor of the JHS Building, transforming the evening into a memorable journey through supernatural suspense and bone-chilling horrors, all courtesy of the showing of the “KakilabuTams” film.
As the world unites to celebrate the United Nations, the FEU Roosevelt Rodriguez’s campus became the grounds for the clash of intellects in the form of the “Battle of the Wizards” quiz bee on the 18th of October. Spearheaded by the FEUR-Araling Panlipunan/HUMSS Department, the event gathered the contestants in the Junior high school building library where they could showcase their intellect as the institution’s nurtured Hopes of the Nation.
In a vibrant display of creativity and historical knowledge, students from FEURR embraced the spirit of UN Month in the KapareWho competition held at the FEURR Gymnasium last Tuesday. The event was a thrilling conclusion to a week-long celebration, with participants embodying iconic historical figures through impressive cosplay.
