The Scholastic Reading Center witnessed a riveting display of oratory prowess during the Declamation competition for Grade 9 and 10 students. Storytelling (Nov. 24, 2023)

On November 24, the Scholastic Reading Center became a haven for captivating stories. Selected Grade 12 students took on the role of storytellers, weaving narratives that showcased effective storytelling techniques and fostered a strong connection with the audience. The storytelling sessions, held for Preschool and Grade 1 students, demonstrated the ability of literature to transcend age barriers and captivate hearts.

Impromptu Speech (Nov. 24, 2023)

Grade 11 students took center stage in the Impromptu Speech competition, showcasing their ability to deliver messages succinctly and organize impromptu thoughts into a logical and coherent structure. The event highlighted the importance of quick thinking and the significance of effective communication in our daily lives.

“Vest” in Spelling Culminating Activity (Nov. 29, 2023)

The grand culmination of the English Month celebration took place in the School Gymnasium on November 29, with the “Vest” in Spelling activity. This event, which included Declamation and an awarding ceremony, aimed to expand participants’ vocabulary by exposing them to a diverse range of words. The gymnasium was excited as Grade 7 and 8 students showcased their spelling prowess, proving that language is dynamic and ever-expanding.
