The Senior’s Promenade was flawlessly hosted by the Masters of Ceremony, Ms. Dona L. Cloma and Mr. Frince Julius Badion, who set the tone for an evening of glitz and glam, in line with the theme of the event.
The festivities began with the registration process, ensuring that all attendees were accounted for, adding to the anticipation and excitement that filled the air. The atmosphere reached its crescendo as the red-carpet entrance unfolded, with the promenaders and school personnel making a grand processional entrance. The grandeur of the event was further heightened by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, stirring patriotic emotions among the participants.
Ms. Shiela Marie Lacbanes led a heartfelt prayer, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to gather and celebrate after a challenging year. The prayer served as a reminder of the resilience and strength exhibited by the graduating class throughout their academic journey.
Benj Andrei Roxas, the current FEUR-RSC President, delivered a warm welcome speech, expressing appreciation for the successful organization of the promenade and acknowledging the struggles faced by the class of 2023. The speech not only set the stage for the evening’s events but also celebrated the indomitable spirit of the graduating seniors.
A highlight of the promenade was the Batch Prophecy, presented by Carl Angelo Cagatin, the current FEUR-RSC Vice President. The Batch Prophecy showcased imaginative and humorous predictions for the future endeavors and achievements of the graduating students, adding an element of fun and excitement to the proceedings.
The audience was then treated to a heartwarming short video highlighting the fun moments and memorable experiences of Batch 2023 throughout their academic journey. The video served as a poignant reminder of the bonds formed and the growth experienced by the graduating class, evoking nostalgia, and reflection.
The class presidents took the stage to deliver their inspiring messages, reflecting on the challenges faced, the lessons learned, and the hopes for the future. Their speeches encapsulated the resilience and determination of the graduating class, leaving a lasting impact on all in attendance.
Under the guidance of Ms. Mangao, the teacher-in-charge, the Cotillion de Honor unfolded with elegance and grace. The participants showcased their refined dance moves, radiating sophistication and embodying the spirit of the promenade. The Cotillion, to the accompaniment of songs Enchanted, Bust Your Windows, Gento, and Tala, added a touch of class and fun to the evening, captivating the audience and leaving them in awe of the participants’ talent and dedication.
As the attendees savored a delectable dinner, the atmosphere was filled with delight and camaraderie. The students relished this opportunity to bond, share stories, and cherish the moments of togetherness, knowing that their time together as a class was drawing to a close.
Angel Suna and Aliyah Faye Labaguis, both Grade 12 students, took the stage, enchanting the audience with their mesmerizing serenade. Their harmonious voices echoed through the venue, creating a magical ambiance.
The much-anticipated moment arrived as Aldrich Rein B. Mendez from Grade 12-STEM C was announced the Prom King, while Nicole P. Hernandez from Grade 12-ABM A was crowned the Prom Queen. The selection process involved the Grade 12 advisers.
The night culminated in exuberant socials and dancing segment, where the students embraced the opportunity to let loose and revel in the joyous occasion. The dance floor was alive with energy as the DJ played an eclectic mix of music, ensuring that everyone could show off their dance moves and create memories that would last a lifetime.
