School Year: 2022 – 2023
Under the excellent guidance of the Masters of Ceremony, Ms. Kimberly Kate Gojar and Mr. Arnel Dela Cruz, the evening unfolded flawlessly. The theme for the promenade was “Glitz and Glam,” setting the stage for an evening of elegance and style.
The event commenced with the registration process, managed efficiently by Mr. Elamparo, Mr. Vaso, and Mr. Perez. As the students gathered, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation for the festivities to come.
The formal proceedings kicked off with the soul-stirring rendition of the Philippine National Anthem, performed by a talented vocalist, setting a patriotic tone for the evening. This was followed by a heartfelt prayer led by Elaine Justine Samson from 10-Bonifacio, invoking blessings for a memorable and joyous evening.
Regina Joyce Bulanon, a representative from FEUR-RSC, delivered a warm welcome speech, expressing gratitude for the successful organization of the promenade and highlighting the significance of the event as a long-awaited celebration after the challenging times of the pandemic.
One of the highlights of the evening was the enchanting cotillion, choreographed and coordinated by Ms. Mangao, the teacher in charge. The graceful movements of the participants added a touch of sophistication to the atmosphere, captivating the audience with their synchronized dance routines.
After the cotillion, the moment arrived for the lighting of the ceremonial candles and the much-anticipated messages from the class presidents. The class presidents from each section took the stage, representing their respective classes and delivering heartfelt speeches that reflected on their journey together as classmates and their hopes for the future.
As the attendees savored a sumptuous dinner, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, joy, and camaraderie. The students relished this opportunity to socialize, share stories, and strengthen the bonds they had formed throughout their academic journey.
The climax of the promenade arrived with the announcement of the Prom King and Queen. Sean Lawrence P. Laurea from Grade 10 Lopez Jaena was crowned the Prom King, while Roxanna Alexandra C. Winzinger from Grade 10 Luna was honored as the Prom Queen. The selection process involved the grade 10 advisers and the heads of offices, who recognized their outstanding contributions to the school community and their embodiment of the prom’s theme.
Following the awarding ceremony, the dance floor came alive with vibrant energy as the students reveled in the much-awaited socials and dancing segment. The DJ played a mix of popular tunes, ensuring that everyone had a chance to showcase their dance moves and celebrate the joyous occasion.
The Junior’s Promenade not only marked a significant milestone for the Grade 10 students but also symbolized resilience and the triumph of hope after the challenging times brought about by the pandemic. The event provided a platform for the students to create lasting memories, strengthen friendships, and revel in the joy of being together once again.
As the night ended, the students departed with hearts full of cherished moments and unforgettable experiences. The Junior’s Promenade will forever hold a special place in their hearts, serving as a testament to their resilience, unity, and unwavering spirit.
