The event has two (2) batches to cater to the face-to-face classes schedule of all students.

Guided by the student council officers, students from the Secondary Education Department (SED) entered the campus gate as full-fledged Tamaraws. As they entered the campus, members of the Taekwondo Club, Senior Scouting, and Girl Scouts—all geared with their snappy uniforms—lined up to greet the entering students.

The FEURRSC officers also provided the students with flaglets in green and gold colors and stickers of different designs.

Everyone was gathered at the back of the Senior High School (SHS) building for an assembly. At the same time, the FEUR Rodriguez’s Music Club entertained them with a list of songs they performed.

Students lined up for a walk around the campus. Different booths from the school’s clubs welcomed the students along the way.

The Media Arts Club of FEUR Rodriguez set up a photo booth where students were allowed to take pictures for free.

Likewise, the FEURR Arts Club had their station where they featured their different artworks, sold stickers, and did art commissions.

It was later followed by the flag ceremony of students from Grades 9 and 10 at the campus gymnasium.

The FEURR Dance Club offered an intermission to students where they featured the evolution of dance through the years.

The flag ceremony ended with the closing remarks of the school’s principal and campus head, Mrs. Maria Teresa S. Angeles.

The event drew happiness among the students. Remarkably, they appreciated the warm welcome and the freebies given at the event.

It was fun! Yesterday was the first face-to-face class, and the welcoming event of the student council made it more memorable. I love how they greeted us with a warm welcome and gave freebies like flaglets and stickers,” said Althea Marie Salvador, a Grade 12 student.

They also enjoyed the activities and booths that the clubs did.

The booths are also enjoyable, and I like how the clubs created them and how they interacted with the students,” she added.

Furthermore, FEURRSC President Benj Andrei C. Roxas could not be more joyful about the event’s success.

I am exhilarated and thrilled. After weeks of preparation and planning, I can say that Light the FEUR was successful. I am thankful to the student body to my very own team for their participation and support.

I am looking forward to a year full of successful projects ahead of us,” he said.

Another event will be held on September 12, 2022 for the second batch of scheduled face-to-face classes.
