Following the opening of the academic year (A.Y.) 2022–2023, the FEU Roosevelt – Rodriguez Student Council held a virtual welcoming event, “Tams on Board,” last August 23, 2022, on Facebook and Microsoft Teams.
The event was aimed at sending a warm greeting among the students of FEU Roosevelt Rodriguez and familiarizing them with the ins and outs of the school.
Hosted by the FEUR-RSC Sergeant at Arms, Danielle Dealagdon, and the FEUR-RSC Grade 11 Representative, Angelene Julie Coca, the live ran for less than an hour and was consisted of several segments.
It started with an opening remark from the school’s Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Leonila M. Santos, who stressed the importance of hurdling life’s challenges and catching our ultimate goals.
It was then followed by the introduction of the new batch of FEUR-RSC officers for the current academic year. The school’s teaching personnel for the Secondary Education Department (SED) was also shown.
To acquaint the students with the facilities of the school, the FEUR-RSC also conducted a virtual school tour, which was considered the highlight of the event.
The FEUR-RSC Treasurer, Yra Louisse Taroma, together with the FEUR-RSC Grade 10 Representative, Regina Joyce Bulanon, served as the tour guides of the school tour.
They wandered around the school explaining the different facilities that can be found inside the campus premises.
The school’s entrance, clinic, computer laboratory, library, gymnasium, classrooms, and buildings, were among the facilities included in the school tour.
The event ended with the closing remark from the school’s principal and campus head, Mrs. Maria Teresa S. Angeles.
