The FEUR-R The Pasukan was spearheaded by the FEUR-RSC and directed by Ms. Sofia Apolinario and Mr. Simon Florendo, the masters of the ceremony.

The event occurred in two-time frames, both in the morning and in the afternoon. The day began with freshmen and sophomores gathering at around 7:00 a.m. for the morning event. After the shortened class period, around 1:30 p.m., marked the beginning of the afternoon timetable for grade 12 students.

Both sets started with the invocation and flag ceremony led by the FEUR-RSC officers. Eventually, the audience was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Maria S. Angeles, the school’s principal, with a heartfelt speech.

As the program’s first part concluded, the FEUR-R freshmen, sophomores, and seniors had the opportunity to meet and see their advisers on stage as they embarked on their journey as Tamaraws. Alongside the advisers, the various clubs and their moderators were also introduced. Officers and club members took the stage to represent their respective clubs in front of their future members.

Following the introductions, the Music Club presented an intermission number to the audience. Entertainment and games followed the performance, hosted by FEUR-RSC’s Sergeant at Arms, Regina Joyce Bulanon, Rhonalyn Elefane, and FEUR-RSC’s Treasurer Carl Miguel Harina.

Later, our resident band, Mix n’ Match made everyone sing and dance as they performed the hit songs “Raining in Manila” by Lola Amour and “Back to December” by Taylor Swift.

A dance number was followed by our very own FEUR-R Dance Club, “Marahuyo: In the Zone,” as they showed their moves, they pumped up the crowd with their dance performance.

The attending audience heard a last statement from Danielle Dealagdon, President of the FEUR-RSC, to conclude the welcoming ceremony. As the FEUR-R Chorale then sang The FEU hymn, a sense of pride and cohesion was felt throughout the gym.

The event was a success, with the school body fully embracing the Tamaraw spirit. As we embark on a new school year, we are ready to face the challenges ahead and create memories yet to be cherished. We are ready more than ever! Let’s go Tamaraws, let’s go!
