Last August 25, 2021, FEU Roosevelt campuses — Cainta, Marikina and Rodriguez, held its Orientation Program for Academic Year 2021-2022. The students were given a brief overview on the various orientations allotted for Week 0 between the dates of August 26 to September 3, 2021. As a kick-off, there was a Canvas Student On-boarding activity, where students were required to complete module guides and earn badges. The following days were designated for the remaining orientations namely: Aleks, Canvas, Connect, Cengage, Knowledge Channel, and Scholastics (Math and English).
Meanwhile, on August 31, 2021, there was a local orientation per campus intended for the parents and students. Mr. John Cristopher Ubaldo, the OIC Head of FEUR Cainta, together with Ms. Erika Comendador and Ms. Roxanne Claire Mendoza, Academic Coordinators, led the orientation program for FEU Roosevelt Cainta. Mr. Ubaldo introduced the different school officials and the teachers to the parents and students, while Ms. Comendador and Ms. Mendoza discussed the Teaching and Learning Continuum (TLC) Primer. The students were also introduced to the honor code where they are reminded of the religious practice of the core values of the school. Mr. Ubaldo led the students in the recitation of the honor code as they pledge on being a responsible Tamaraw who has resilience, competence and integrity in whatever they do.
The Virtual Orientation Program was a heartwarming welcome to all students, parents, guardians, and teachers. FEU Roosevelt provides the best online learning experience possible and is prepared in the changing demands of teaching and learning in the new normal. A student can take online classes from anywhere in the country and reduce the time and cost that are necessary to get to school despite the community lockdowns. This shows the dedication of the students to have the best online learning experience in the new school year.
