The FEU Roosevelt Rodriguez Student Council (FEURRSC) received a message from the Alumni Director of FEU planning to collaborate with them to help the families struck by typhoon Ulysses. The FEURRSC responded by naming the most affected communities struck by the typhoon.
On November 26, 2020, members of the FEU Alumni Relations and FEU Volunteerism, in collaboration with the FEURRSC went to Kasiglahan Village in Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal, to bring foods and clothes for the victims of typhoon Ulysses. They gave away 400 packs of relief bags including water, canned goods, and instant noodles to the affected families. Afterwards, the team went to Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal to give tons of clothes that were laundry cleaned and disinfected.
All of these were made possible by the guidance of Dr. Marilou F. Cao, Mr. Celmer L. Santos, and Mr. Romel Solomon, who led the program together with the officers of FEURRSC, Lawrence Emil Bugarin, Elisha Ann Tindugan, Neah Cassandra Aguilar, Aiah Mica Bandola, Richmond Ayuson, and Angela Vergara. The cooperation of the volunteers from the partner organizations who helped them distribute the food packages and clothes to the affected Montalbeños in Kasiglahan village and other parts of San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal, were also of great significance in the success of this donation drive.
