After two years of online learning, FEU Roosevelt Cainta finally held its Junior and Senior High School Promenade with the theme “A Starry Night” for Grade 10 and 12 students on May 19, 2023, at the Marikina Convention Center from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The event started with Mr. Donovan Bailey Viscayda, Ms. Chelo Policarpio, Ms. Criselle Joy Ubaldo, and Mr. Carl Michael Angel with a lovely song performance. Shortly after, students and teachers began to show off their luxurious outfits on the runway, then proceeded to the dance floor and put on a show.
Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without giving the Prom Royalties the stage! The judges struggled to find the glamorous of them all as everyone shone through the night. Nonetheless, Mr. Sam Kian Tan and Ms. Phoebe Faith Lintag were the prom king and queen, and Mr. Aaron Clarke Estrella and Ms. Zchyrien Avilla were the prom prince and princess.
Ending the magical event, students partied freely and had the time of their social lives. As a significant occasion in their academic journey, they were able to celebrate their achievements as well as create lasting memories with their peers as the school year comes to an end. High school couples dancing slowly, friends hyping up each other, and teachers clicking their drinks were the showpiece of the evening.
It was truly a starry night to remember.
