Throughout the week, students immersed themselves in activities designed to help them navigate college life with confidence. They were introduced to the university’s academic systems, digital learning platforms, student services, and campus resources that would support them throughout their educational journey. Sessions on leadership, scholarship opportunities, career development, and the importance of fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment reminded students that college is not only about academic achievement but also about personal growth and community.

Beyond the orientations and presentations, Week Zero created opportunities for meaningful connections. Conversations that began with simple introductions turned into friendships, while shared experiences helped transform unfamiliar classmates into future companions. With every activity, students became more comfortable exploring the campus, engaging with faculty members, and discovering the vibrant culture that defines the Tamaraw community.

As the week drew to a close, the once unfamiliar hallways echoed with laughter, conversations, and newfound confidence. The highlight came during TamRally 2026, where games, performances, and student organization showcases brought together students from different programs in a celebration of school spirit, unity, and pride. The energy and enthusiasm shared throughout the event reflected not only the excitement of a new academic year but also the growing sense of community that had been built over the course of the week.

By the end of Week Zero, students had gained far more than information about campus life. They had found new friends, discovered opportunities to grow, and taken their very first steps toward becoming part of the FEU Roosevelt family. As they now begin the academic year, they carry with them not only class schedules and student IDs but also the confidence, memories, and aspirations that will shape their college experience.

For every Tamaraw, Week Zero was more than an orientation—it was the first chapter of a story waiting to be written.
