On the first day of the inter-FEUR events, Cainta and Rodriguez started the fire at the volleyball games. During the first set, the Rodriguez campus led the way with 2 points over their competitors at the Cainta campus. Although the battle was close enough to keep both sides on the edge of their seats, the Rodriguez campus maintained a safe lead. Before long, the first set finished with Rodriguez in a 6-point lead. The second set began, and the Rodriguez players were on fire, increasing their lead over the Cainta campus with a 7-point lead! With the ball going back and forth, player No. 11 of the Rodriguez team attempted to spike their way but unfortunately failed with the ball hitting the net, resulting in a timeout. The game favored the Rodriguez campus with a score of 19 to 23. After the timeout, the Cainta campus made a mistake with a point to go when they hit the net. The first set’s win was given to the Rodriguez campus!

The second set started, and the two campuses tied 1-1. This time, the Cainta campus leads with a 2-point deficit. Although the Cainta campus led in the first stages of the second set, the Rodriguez campus quickly caught up, tying up with a 5-5 score. The set started to become more interesting! While things heated up throughout the second set, the Rodriguez campus claimed victory with a 10-point lead over their competitors at the Cainta campus.
The second and final day of the inter-FEUR sports events was just as intense as the first! During the first game, the TED vs. Rodriguez campus of the men’s division lit the fire. The first spike of the day went to No. 8 (Umpad) of Rodriguez but failed. Thus, TED led the way with its first point, but not too long before Rodriguez got in condition and proceeded with a 4-point lead. No. 69 (Robledo) of TED tried to spike their way against their younger counterparts but failed. And thus, timeout. With a whopping lead of 12 points, the game favors Rodriguez. With that, the first set concluded with a 14-point lead.
With that first strike from TED, they have again started the lead. Unlike before, when Rodriguez got away with a massive lead, this time, TED got back on its feet. Soon enough, the second timeout came, and although Rodriguez was still in the lead, the gap between the scores was not as big as before. With 4-9, the game is still in favor of Rodriguez.
While the men’s division favored Rodriguez, the TED dominated their younger counterparts at Marikina in the women’s division. With a lead of 6 points, the first set favored TED.
Going back to the men’s division, the TED looked like they were getting back on their feet, but Rodriguez clearly showed them they could not. With the lead getting larger and larger, so does the pressure. And timeout, with a lead of over 11 points, the game ended. With a lead of 12 points, Rodriguez won the first game of men’s volleyball.
Meanwhile, in the women’s division, TED got a lead of 4 points. With a lead of 10 points, the game favored TED. Unlike their teammates in the men’s division, the women’s division of TED led the game. The pressure was building up for both teams with a point to go. Soon enough, the game concluded with TED winning a 13-point lead over their younger counterparts at Marikina.
As they dominated most volleyball games in both divisions, the Rodriguez campus was hailed champion.
